Built Environment Services Research Group (BES) specializes in the research of the service business in the field of construction and real estate businesses. BES produces scientific research results and problem solving models to meet the needs of the Finnish construction and real estate service industries. BES pursues to further the development of domestic construction and the real estate industry as well as international competitiveness of the companies in this business sector.
BES is part of the Department of Structural Engineering and Building Technology. It operates in close collaboration with the construction and real estate industry as well as other research units in Finland. The group pursues to strengthen its international collaboration network with leading international research units.
